Internship at Fotografisk Center
Are you looking for an internship as part of your studies?
Fotografisk Center is looking for two students in Art History, Visual Culture, Modern Culture, Danish, Communication, Multimedia Design, Digital Concept Development, or related fields, with an interest in photography and camera-based art, to assist with the production of exhibitions and public engagement activities.
As an exhibition intern at Fotografisk Center, you will be involved in all stages of producing an exhibition – including assisting with curating, coordination, administration, fundraising, exhibition installation, exhibition texts, and visitor services.
As a communications intern, you will be working with Fotografisk Center’s communication and presentation of exhibitions and events – including managing the gallerys social media content, educational materials, guided tours, press releases, newsletters, and visitor services.
We offer a varied and educational internship providing valuable insight into and experience with curating, operations, communication, and outreach in an ambitious art institution. In addition to an interest in and knowledge of photography, video, and contemporary art in general, we expect that you are a good team player, proactive, and able to work independently and in a structured manner.
We expect you to be available about three to four days a week, i.e. 20–30 hours per week during the spring semester, but we will of course take your study commitments into account. The internship is expected to begin in August/September/October 2026. Please note that the internship is unpaid.
